FanTron Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FanTron handles information in the app.

Information Collected

FanTron may collect account details, profile information, username, rooting country, avatar, uploaded photos and clips, captions, match-room activity, reports, blocks, account-deletion requests, and basic technical data needed to run the app.

Location

FanTron may use device location to determine whether a post is within about 0.5 mile of a match stadium. FanTron stores the resulting stadium or everywhere context, location source, and verification time for a post.

FanTron does not store precise latitude and longitude with the post.

How Information Is Used

FanTron uses app data to create accounts, show match-room content, display profiles, support posting, tag stadium/everywhere context, process reports, enforce blocks, improve the app, prevent abuse, and operate the service.

Service Providers

FanTron uses trusted providers to run the app, including:

- Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and Edge Functions

- Apple Sign In and Google Sign In for authentication

- API-Football for match schedule, score, time, and status data

If FanTron adds analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or similar tools, this policy will be updated to describe the data involved.

Content Visibility

Uploaded photos, clips, captions, avatar, username, rooting country, match-room activity, score/time snapshots, and stadium or everywhere context may be visible to other users depending on where the content is posted.

Reporting And Blocking

When you report a post or user, FanTron stores report details needed to review the issue.

When you block a user, FanTron stores that block for your account so their content can be hidden from you and so you can unblock them later.

Account And Data Deletion

You can delete your account from Settings in the FanTron app.

FanTron deletes your account, profile, posts, uploaded photos and clips, captions, and account relationships from active app systems unless limited retention is required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Consent And Choices

You can stop using FanTron, sign out, delete your account, or revoke app permissions such as camera, microphone, photo library, or location access in device settings.

Some features may not work without required permissions.

Children

FanTron is not for children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use FanTron only with permission from a parent or guardian.

Security And Retention

FanTron uses reasonable safeguards, but no app or internet service can guarantee perfect security.

Data is kept only as long as needed to operate FanTron, comply with law, enforce safety rules, resolve disputes, or protect the service.

Changes To This Policy

FanTron may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The updated version will show a new “Last updated” date.
